Oprah And Religion

Oprah Winfrey has taken the over the top promotion of her "New Age" religion to a whole new level by publicly trashing Christians and the foundations of the Christian faith.

During a shocking national broadcast, Oprah Winfrey recently stated that Jesus did not come to this earth to die on the cross for our sins.

Instead, Oprah is telling millions of her viewers that the real purpose for Jesus coming was to teach us "Christ consciousness".

Oprah is also insisting on her programs that there could not possibly be one way to God, and that all "religions" are basically the same.

In Matthew 24:10-11, Jesus said:

At that time many will turn away from the faith and will betray and hate each other, and many false prophets will appear and deceive many people.

Oprah Winfrey is literally deceiving millions and millions of people.

Have you been deceived?

Oprah claims that there are multiple ways to heaven.

If there was another way to heaven, then why did Jesus have to die on the cross?

If there were tons of other ways for our sins to be paid for, then why didn't Jesus just come down, point out some of the various ways to be pleasing to God, and then go back into heaven?

Why did Jesus have to die on the cross?

The reality is that there is no other way, and that the only way to God is through faith in the Lord Jesus Christ.

John 3:36

Whoever believes in the Son has eternal life, but whoever rejects the Son will not see life, for God's wrath remains on him.

Oprah also recently held weekly internet "lessons" for the entire world with her new spiritual "superstar" Eckhart Tolle.

These are some of the incredibly disturbing things that Tolle has written:

"All religions are equally false and equally true, depending on how you use them."

"Man made God in his own image."

Oprah is also promoting the teaching of New Age guru Marianne Williamson, and she has given Williamson a radio show on her own radio network to promote such beliefs as:

"There is no sin."

A "slain Christ has no meaning."

"Do not make the pathetic error of 'clinging to the old rugged cross.'"

"The recognition of God is the recognition of yourself."

These are the things that Oprah REALLY believes and has been promoting over television and radio and the internet.

So welcome to the church of Oprah where there is no sin, no need for salvation, no heaven, no hell and where YOU are God:
