Have you seen the video of Iraqi journalist Muntadar al-Zeidi throwing two shoes at President George W. Bush? Most Americans are laughing at this incident, but there is much more to this incident than some idiot reporter chucking his shoes at Bush.
This incident represents a stunning failure of the security around President Bush. It is unthinkable that anyone would be able to not only throw one shoe at Bush from almost point blank range, but that this reporter would also have the chance to slowly reload and chuck a second shoe at Bush.
Where in the world was the secret service while this was happening?
What if the Iraqi reporter had actually been armed with something?
