Apparently the U.S. government thinks that anyone who believes that we are living in the "end times" is a potential terrorist. On page 4 of the recent Department of Homeland Security report on "right wing extremism" Christians who believe in the "end times" are referred to as extremist individuals.
You can read a copy of this disturbing report for yourself here:

This report not only attacks Christians, but it unfairly labels tens of millions of ordinary Americans as potential terrorists.
Below is a list of 14 characteristics of a "domestic terrorist" that were pulled right out of the report.
According to the Department of Homeland Security, you may be a domestic terrorist if.....
*you are a U.S. military veteran returning from duty in Iraq or Afghanistan
*you believe in "end times" prophecies
*you believe in state or local authority
*you are against abortion
*you are against illegal immigration
*you believe in the 2nd Amendment
*you criticize any of the free trade agreements the U.S. has made
*you are against same-sex marriage
*you believe that an economic collapse is happening
*you think that the U.S. may declare martial law someday
*you believe that the U.S. is creating detention camps
*you stockpile food, ammunition or weapons
*you believe that illegal immigrants are taking away American jobs
*you believe "New World Order" conspiracy theories
The truth is that government has taken another step towards telling us what we can and cannot believe.
If you are a Christian and you believe we are living in the end times, now you have a new label....
Potential terrorist.

Well, I have them all covered aside from being in the military. Be sure you spell my name correctly now. That's Mark Lance Earhart!
First of all I must say I'm a devout Christian and a person of color. After reading the Homeland Security document I'm not offended nor angered. I am however concerned. The beliefs quoted above such as belief of end times prophecy and pro-life rights are catergorized as beliefs held by Christian Identity organizations. For now at least at the moment I don't subscribe to the belief that the Department of Homeland Security beliefs those who follow Christianity are potential terrorists. Please read the document yourself and not just the headlines here. I invite you to research what is considered Christian Identity organizations. You will find names such as the KKK (Klu Klux Klan) and other extremists organizations. My concern is eventually ALL Christians (Morman, Jehovah's Witness, Lutheran, Methodist, and etc.) will one day be labeled under the Christian Identity movement.
Smooth I suggest you open your eyes and just let it be what it is. They have been talking for years about this as well. I saw this awhile, while back we keyword being (Practicing)Christians are considered to be possible terrorist because of our belief of endtime prophecy etc.
They say we can instigate war or cause factions to form from the belief in a returning person. I personally who have read it before know it does not specify KKK or all that it says Practicing Christians and that's just what it meant. They're coming after any that oppose them is the bottom line it may not be now but it will happen eventually.
I am a "right-wing" born again Christian. I have spent my whole life trying to obey the laws of my country. I disagree with the way my country (Canada) has been doing things lately when it comes to decisions made by our "Conservative" federal government. it seems as though everything is a hate crime these days, in both Canada and the US. However, it also seems as though what the Department of Homeland Security is doing is a hate crime, as well. If an American were to say that people having abortions are terrorists, or if one were to say that homosexuals are terrorists, they would be arrested for committing a hate crime. Just like if an American were to say that known Muslim terrorist organizations in America are terrorists, they would also be "committing a hate crime". There have been many Muslims in North America threatening jihad, but apparently they are within their religious rights. Just because I believe my Lord is returning soon to take me to Heaven doesn't make me a potential terrorist. I just wanted the governments in North America to know this. With that being said, I would also like to say that by the governments cracking down on all of us "hardened criminals" they are proving the Bible to be true when it comes to "end times prophecies" because the Bible states that this is something that will definitely happen. I guess that would mean that the governments upholding these laws against us "potential terrorists" who are Christians must be an "accomplice" to our so called "crimes". Thank you, and God bless!
